Meet Aaron Herskovic
Founder of Michigan Fire Law

I’ve built my career around helping people pick up the pieces after one of life’s most devastating moments: a fire that turns their home or business upside down.

For more than 22 years, I’ve practiced law across Michigan, and for more than a decade, I’ve focused exclusively on fire and property insurance claims.

I started Michigan Fire Law because I wanted to offer something simple but powerful: personal attention and deep expertise from a lawyer who’s been there for hundreds of fire survivors across the state,

My team and I have helped clients recover tens of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds.

I’ve led complex fire litigation and negotiated settlements that changed lives, including a nearly $10 million resolution for victims of a tragic apartment fire.

But what I’m proudest of is that my clients trust me to guide them through the hardest chapter of their lives and help them move forward.

I'm Proud to Call Michigan Home

I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School, a Super Lawyers Rising Star and a member of the Executive Board of the Michigan Association for Justice.

A little about me... outside of work.

I’m a husband, father of two and lifelong sports fan.

You’ll usually find me coaching my son’s Little League team, cheering on the Lions (season ticket holder for 40 years and counting), the Wolverines or squeezing in a round of golf.

My wife is a veterinarian and our dog, Hutchins, who was named after the law school building at U of M, rounds out the family.

When You Call, You Get Us

From the first call to the final recovery, my team and I are with you every step of the way. We manage the deadlines, the paperwork, the insurance company and the unexpected curveballs, so you can focus on your family and rebuilding your life.
